How to’s
Your Sumsub Academy account is created the first time you sign up for a course.
If you joined a course before, log in with your credentials. If you forgot the password, reset it.
No Sumsub Academy account? Follow these steps:
1. Visit Sumsub Academy page
2. Choose a course
3. Fill in the enrollment form to complete registration
4. After you send the form, we will email your login details
If you want to log in to an existing account:
1. Visit Sumsub Academy login page
2. Enter your email and password
3. Click Sign in button
4. Click Forgot password? if you can’t sign in
5. Reset password
If you forgot your password, follow the next steps:
1. Click Forgot Password? button
2. Enter the email you used to create the account
3. Click Submit button
4. You will get the email for password reset
5. Follow Change my password link in this email
6. Enter a new password and confirm it
7. Click Change My Password
8. Log in with updated credentials
If you forgot your password, follow the next steps:
1. Click Forgot Password? button
2. Enter the email you used to create the account
3. Click Submit button
4. You will get the email for password reset
5. Follow Change my password link in this email
6. Enter a new password and confirm it
7. Click Change My Password
8. Log in with updated credentials
If you do not have an account and want to pass any of our courses:
1. Visit Courses page on our website
2. Select the course you want to enroll in
3. Fill in the registration form
4. Click Register Now button
5. Get an email with enrollment confirmation and instructions
If you already have an account:
1. Log in to Sumsub Academy
2. Visit Our Courses page
3. Select the course you want to enroll in
4. On the course page, choose Enroll Now
5. After enrollment, you will be redirected to the course content
To gain a certificate, you should complete all modules, pass all tests, and fill in the survey in the corresponding course.
You will receive an email about your credentials within 24 hours after course completion.
You can download your certificate by following the link in the email.
To share your certificate online, follow these steps:
1. Open the email with a certificate
2. Click Add to LinkedIn Profile button
3. You will be redirected to LinkedIn
4. Add license or certification menu will appear
5. Check if all the information is filled in correctly
6. Click Save button

Transition FAQ
Progress for courses you joined before June 3, 2025, is saved only if you finished the course. If you did not complete your course, you can re-enroll and start from scratch.
Note: Courses are usually available within 3 months after enrollment. After that, your enrollment will expire, and you will need to re-enroll via the course page.
To keep learning free and accessible, we make course access and progress storage time-limited to ensure the platform stays available and effective for all learners.
If you took courses on the previous version of our platform, your progress has been saved only for courses you fully completed.
If a course was not completed, your progress was reset.
You can simply re-enroll to review the course or start from scratch.
Most courses are free to complete within 3 months from the date of enrollment.
If you want to find your courses:
1. Visit My Dashboard page
2. Check all the courses you are enrolled in
Remember: each course is active for 3 months from the day you enroll. Once enrollment has expired, you will need to re-enroll through the “Our Courses” page.
If you started a course on the old platform before June 3, 2025, and didn’t complete the learning, your progress is reset.
If you finished courses before June 3, your progress is saved.
You can simply re-enroll to review the course or start from scratch.
If you have access to your old email address, you can update it in your account:
1. Visit My Account page
2. On Edit Profile page, find Email bar
3. Enter a new email
4. Click Save Changes button
5. Get an email with a verification code
6. Enter code
7. Click Verify button
If you cannot access it anymore, create a new account. Otherwise, we will not be able to verify that the old address belongs to you, and it would raise security concerns.
All certificates are sent to your email from [email protected] within 24 hours upon course completion. If you can’t find the email, please try to search the inbox by the course name.
Note: You should complete all modules, pass all tests, and fill in the survey in the corresponding course. After receiving an email, you can download a certificate and share it on LinkedIn.
To access the platform, you need to have an active account. If you have one, go to the “Sign In” page and log in using your email address.
To acquire an account, follow the instructions from “How to: Create an account” section.
If you have an account but forgot your password, follow the instructions from “How to’s: Reset password” section.
The main elements of the Sumsub Academy platform that will help in navigation:
My Dashboard: This page lists all courses you are already enrolled in and have access to.
My account: This page allows you to change your profile data and password, track enrollment history, and view billing information.
Our courses: This page shows all available Academy courses you can choose from. Click on what you're interested in to start learning.
Course navigation:
When accessing the course, you need to use a few elements to successfully advance:
- To go to the next lesson, click the “Complete & Continue” button at the bottom right.
- If you want to repeat a lesson or stop it from showing as finished, click the “Mark Incomplete” button.
- On the left side, you will see a list of lessons and modules. You can use this list to: check which lessons you finished, and look for a lesson by name.
- You can move between lessons and modules using the same list. But remember, each lesson must be completed before the next one unlocks.
